According to a post on Facebook that displayed a notice from the restaurant’s owner, Java Pokes, LLC, on the front door of the establishment, CC’s Coffee, a coffee business with its headquarters in Louisiana, has permanently shuttered its facility on Country Club Road in Lake Charles.
The management team of the company cited a number of causes as contributing grounds for the closure, some of which include the COVID-19 pandemic, the storms of 2020, and the present road work.
The announcement that the establishment was closing said, “While we have explored many various ways to make our location solvent, we now regretfully have no alternative but to shut our doors.”
Boombox Ice Cream, which is located in the same strip as CC’s Coffee at 2825 Country Club Road, has also announced that it will be shutting down at the end of the year. CC’s Coffee is not the first shop in the 2825 Country Club Road strip to shut down.
